There is nothing wrong with you reitering and/or embellishing your original argument, and while I may well be Black Swaned out so to speak, I have been greatly enriched by all the discussion, and by the acuteness of this review. I guess I never got over the film's bizarre and disturbing horror film underpinnings, which did make me reject the metaphors almost as a matter of beside teh point.
