Cansado como estoy, pensaba que no podría ver la película del día de hoy. Claro que el video de James Rolfe de su Cinemassacre's Monster Madness es sobre la trilogía Troll y habla sobre un total de CUATRO películas, de las cuales he visto una, "Troll 2" (1990), siendo la primera la que veré hoy y las otras dos son "Contamination .7" (1990) y "Quest for the Mighty Sword" (1990). Pueden ver su video acá, es increíble.Sobre la película que vi, "Troll 2" (1990), es una de las peores mejores películas, me reí tanto al verla que creo que llega a un nivel insospechado de grandeza que llega a ser una de las peores películas que he visto pero que seguramente me hizo reír mucho más que muchas otras comedias modernas, aún así les digo mi puntaje aquí abajo.

La película es... aburrida... un poco tonta y nada interesante. Es la primera vez que una película me deja con tan poco que decir. Es floja y lo único bueno son los disfraces de los goblins, lo mismo que ciertos efectos especiales y la presentación de los lugares boscosos. Mucho más no hay.La historia es complicada porque está mal construída. Una familia se mueve a un departamento en un edificio, el cual tiene un Troll que ataca a la hija menor y toma su apariencia. De ahí en adelante sé pocas cosas, el hermano menor sospecha de ella, el troll mata gente y trata de crear un mundo mágico dentro del edificio. No sé y me duelen los ojos.
No tengo casi nada que decir, la actuaciones son horrendas y no me divertí ni un segundo. No puedo creer que aunque esto sea competentemente mejor hecho que la secuela. Su ambición de ser un clásico de terror para niños queda enterrado bajo una serie de momentos francamente aburridos y para nada recomendables. Una pena.

Yes, "Troll 2" is truly terrible. I think I only watched about a third of it before throwing in the towel. I haven't joined the legions of fans who claim to love it for being so awful, but if you haven't heard of it yet, there was a documentary made about the actors and crew members and what they are doing now called "Best Worst Movie." I haven't seen it, but it looks entertaining. You can see the trailer here if you haven't already:

Hey, I wish I could comment on your blog, I see all the effort you put into it, but I haven't seen the majority of the films you talk about! I know this is sacrilege, but I'm going to remedy that as soon as I can.
There's nothing sacrilegious about not having seen these movies. There is something fantastic about having the ability to sample them for the first time. So as much as I would love to hear what you think, I am happy just to have you stop by and take a look at what I'm writing.
I do have a question about your horror project. Over the past five or six years I have spent several months in Panama and I know they don't celebrate Halloween there. Do you celebrate it Chile? Or is this October horror project a nod to the English speaking world's ghoulish sensibilities in October?
Jason: while Halloween is not something new or common when I was little, as I grew up I began to see an explosion of costumes, I even went out and nasked for candy once!
It's spring here, so most of my friends tell me I'm stupid for doing this blogathon, and I just love horror and I wanna see movies, so I just take advantage of Halloween Month.
